Im glad the normal sunbeds and brollies are in that part of the beach Certainly didnt like the ones on the Pine Walk They seemed to dominate the view

I hate they new parasols, when I saw them last year....didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Huge monstrosities obstructing the view and the beautiful soft sand covered in strands of straw, with everyone squeezed in like sardines it was an awful sight and certainly takes away from the beauty of the Pinewalk.
While I am having my moan....I also thought the colour of the beds were very drab!
PS Yes Lollipop I agree with you, they have made a very good job of clearing up the beach and getting it back to pristine condition, well done them but it does not change my opinion of the parasols.

Just looking at Webcam again, almost 1 full month since the last post on this thread, and I can't help but note that somebody has displayed their entire collect of "unused" sunbeds on the beach! I wonder how much they want for them?
TOO MUCH MAYBE!!!

Is the resort generally quiet or just the beach ?

We were in the port from 5/5 for five days and I was very surprised by how quiet it was both during the day and particularly at night. I commented to my husband how almost all the sunbeds the whole length of the beach including the pine walk were empty. I have been visiting the port for many years at all times of year and I have never known it so quiet for May. Very strange !!

Bit of a daft question, but can you just pay for one bed and brollie? I am coming out with my daughter and her friend, they are both 16 and meeting up with all their friends from last year, so I'll be on my own most of the time (not complaining! ) Thought i'd treat myself to a sunbed on the beach

Beds & Brollies on main beach are 15 euros per day which if you used for 5 days would cost 75 euros or about £64 this is a lot of money for 2 people to pay to go on a couple of beds for 5 days hence not so many people using them!

Hi emmalou, yes you can, you have have 1 or 2 sunbeds with or without the shade, think its around 5 euros each item, so bed and shade 10 or 5 just for the bed

Sunbeds and shades on Pine Walk are 22 Euros. You have a problem seeing the sea and finding a space to move your chairs around . A lot of my friends are boycotting and falling out with P.Pollenca because of the spoilt view of the beach
and having to pay over £110 just to sit on beach for the week. Mainland charges and other islands under £10 per day. Sorry to moan but I hope everyone refuses to use them and pay this ridiculous price.
