We've just returned from a week in PP, I really don't understand the hate out there for the parasols on the pine walk beach.

Actually thought they looked quite pleasant, if just a tad overpriced.

I think the "hate out there" refered to the new parasols obstructing the view of the bay and mountains beyond.

Yeah, I picked up on people making that point, still don't get the hate(and it does seem to be that) for what is a relatively minor change though.

I got told off about eleven times yesterday by Debs for snoring on my sunbed on the beach. It is so easy to fall asleep after a couple lunch time beers in the sun.

There is a competition between the 8th and 16th as part of the Fiesta week.

Not sure if I've ever seen such a ration of Empty Sunbeds v's People on Beach with their own brollies, etc. And that's over 25 years +.

However, they are all enjoying themselves!
