After a hard day on the beach in front of the Coach House we always had a Bloody Mary or two from Juan on the beach before he shut up at 6 p.m. for the night (because the Pinewalk was so quiet in the evenings it wasn't worth him staying open!)

How about the old POZO run by Manalo now Tango & Vincente Tony's Dad El Posito.

We used to call in on way back from the beach and eat little fishes they called them, whitebait to die for wash down with nice cold beer. Back again after we eaten and stayed till the dustman came along, my son is same age as Tony they used to chatter away Tony very little English my Son no Spanish but they got by. Glory Days

Do any of you remember the yellow vintage car that was driven around the Port, it was a mobile advert for The Bulls Head and then The Nags Head and Trotters. Well it has popped up again in the car park behind the Health centre and i am told a well known diner owner is hoping to renovate it , follow the link below for some pics taken this morning.

Yes Sparky I rescued from a dark garage where it had been siiting for around 5 years and this winter will be restoring the car to its former glory for all to see, but with our business on it, I am sure young mr Sparky will be sending you the pictures when I take him for around PP when complete
