We have been visiting PP for the past 7 years. We love it. Stayed in various different places. Now my kids are older, and two of them are heading off on holiday to a destination of their own choice. My partner has bought a new boat to play with this summer. So it will be myself and my youngest who will be going to PP this Aug,and we cannot wait...love it.

One of our favourite places to eat is the Sparrow. It was perfect for the kids. Pepe is heading back there next month, while he was home (for the winter)here in Glasgow, he was making changes to his menu, we have got to know Pepe very well with eating at the sparrow. His son Mark, who usually spends the summer there working with his Dad is now a good friend of my son's.

Last year we went to a place to eat on Pollensa Park Alley...the sol y mar, slowest service ever, and my chicken kebab was not cooked properly. Put me off. Is the sol y mar still open? It has had a for sale sign up for about 3 years?
We have eaten in so many places over the years, and the only bad experience was the sol y mar. PP is full of good restaurants and pubs. And it is a glorious place to be. Perfection. Friendly.

Thats my intro done.

Hi Maggiepie yes the owner of the Sol y Mar is getting ready to open, it is a shame as this used to be a great place but since the family split up it has gone to the dogs.

Thankyou Sparky. I don' think I would go back to it. Loads of good eateries to choose from.
