Default Mystery building in Pollença town

I saw this building on a recent visit and wonder if anyone knows what it was. It's next to the Torrent de Sant Jordi. An old chap in the town told me it was a factory, but my spanish isn't very good and the conversation ended there! Unknown building next to Torrent de Sant Jordi. ... | Architecture

You can see the location here on google maps

cheers
Matt

thanks. Yes that's the one. tragic. It's a really interesting building (although out of character with the rest of the historic town centre). Maybe the local council would prefer it did fall down!

Hi Matt I think they have an order on it although I can't understand why they would want to protect it as in my opinion it is pretty yek!

You may also be interested on one of Andrew Ede's blogs which mentions the carpet factory with a hint of what may befall it!
