You can drive from Llenaire until just before Tolos it then becomes a pedestrian zone.

OK, let me rephrase the question. Is the road in front of the webcam a pedestrian zone at any time, and if so, at what times of the day?
Sorry, I do not know where Tolos is.

Thanks Sparky, and where is Tolos, to the left or right of the webcam, please.

It's just before the bridge at La Gola.

ERRR I think PP76 is incorrect, From the roundabout at Llenaire you can drive right through to the roundabout at the marina, respecting the speed limit, between the hours of 05:00 through to 18:00 when it becomes a pedestrian zone. I drive this every day of the week except possibly Sundays. There are large signs telling you this.

Majprop,
You are of course correct, I should have been clearer and said my reply was only relevant at the time when the question was asked and should also not have thought everyone knew the location of Tolos.i

The Cyclists NEED TO KEEP TO THE SPEED LIMIT of 30 not speed down the semi- pedestrianised Coast Road like they own it at whatever speed they choose, its so dangerous for the pedestrians especially young and old. Will it take a tragedy to have them stopped

When I was out there a few month ago, I made the comment that it was an accident waiting to happen. I think making the cycle path on the same level as the pavement, means that kids running around will not really spot the demarcation lines and with the palm trees causing blind spots, its easy to see how an accident can happen.
Obviously if the cyclists pootled along at slow speed, it would be less likely, but the ones going past me at the time were doing over between 15-20mph. Not something that can be easily enforced and if you put in lots of nasty little speed bumps, they'll cycle on the road. Tricky one.

Actually, it is quite simple.
1. Find cyclist
2. Insert brain
sorted!

What speed do you think they were doing sunshine? I was out a couple of weeks ago and saw no cyclists going fast along the semi-pedestrianised section.

Can we please calm down with the cyclist bashing. I enjoy cycling and it's the main reason I came to Pollenca.
Have there been any incidents?
I see people being idiots in cars several times a day. There was a crash outside work on a straight road today involving a Corsa and a crash barrier. I still havent worked out how he did it. The only time I've helped a cyclist out after a crash was when an old guy put his front wheel in to the gutter and lost it on Newcastle riverside. He was going really slow.
If there's a real problem raise it with the police.
