Its good to know that Pollensa was popular with some of the oldies but what about today?
Are there any other celebs owners in the area besides Robbie?
I'm a Robbie fan (Robbie if you are a member of this forum I'll settle just for the bubbles - Debz can keep the canapes! lol)
I love his music but if pointing the mike at the audience earns him enough pennies to buy such a beautiful property in a beautiful place then good for him.

Ah a smiley face so you are joking!
Prices will go sky high if a few high profile celebs start to buy. Personally I think it would be great if they brought their money to the Port.

Eleanor,
Don't think so . One of the Oasis yobs bought the house next door to my mate and he ended up virtually giving it away when he sold !!!!

Bonyslad, I know what you mean. I suppose it depends on who it is. As I said before I would hate Katie or Kerry arriving!!
Anyway - getting back to present time - I would be very interested to know which 'celebs' visit PP now and which ones own property in the area? Anyone know?

Bonys
Reckon Old Blue Eyes and his crew would make RW
look like a bunch of schoolboys
A subtle intake of quality celebs would be good for the Port
but as said no Kerry,Katie (or whichever identity she goes by)
The list could go on.
Plus I hate the paparazzi hanging around my hotel

Really don't understand what the obsession is with us Brits and celebrity . If you cut them don't they bleed like us ?
BonysLad
Must dash cos Elton is bringing Baby Zach to his first footie game at Vicarage Rd today and I've promised to help him get the pram out of the Roller !!!

Not this year BL , First in a long time, no direct flights from Scotland. Hopefully they will come back when this recession thingy is over.

I would love to see inside of the villas owned by some of the celebs. The description of Boris Becker's little place sounds wonderful. Personally I would like to see more famous faces visit as I think it can only be good generally for the island.

Surprised you didn't mention the most famous of all celebs, Bella.
Old Blue Eyes bought the Fortalesa (the headland property which overlooks the bay ) for Ava Gardner ( the love of his life !! ) some years ago. Frequent visitors included Errol Flynn and John Wayne who had some fun and riotous times there (" The heck I did !! " says JW ).
Now they were stars !!!

Wasn't Old Blue Eyes connected to the mafia?? - give me Robbie any day! lol

Smiddy,
That's a shame , first time in years that you must have missed . Hopefully ( like Bonyladette ) you are catching up on the latest releases of Taggart on Alibi . She's glued to em. Surprised anyone is still standing up in Glasgew with all those murrrrrrrrrderrrrrrrrrs going on !!!!
Eleanor,
Katie has no need to buy in PP cos she knows I've promised her a bed in the Bonynest anytime she is in the area .
Be careful with your words about Frankie . The "Family" don't take too kindly to unjust comparisons with Robbie !!!!!
.................................................. ........................................
Not in the best of moods . In fact a pretty s**ty afternoon all round both literally and emotionally
a ) We lost 3-1 and their first goal an own goal when our goalie on clearing hit the central defender square in the back straight into our goal.
b) Football grounds are not the most conducive of environments to change baby's nappy !!!!!!
c) Told Elton that the kid, at 7 weeks old, was far to young to be enjoying the curried meat pies . Would he listen !!!, I guess that's why you call it the Blues !!!! ( Always thought this was biologically impossible , but no siree !!!
So off down the boozer to write the day off !!!!
