Default Plate glass

One of our delightful rentees has managed to break a bathroom shelf - God knows how - the mind boggles!

Rather than head off to Leroy Merlin for a new shelf and all the subsequent drilling and filling, does anyone know of a glass merchant where i could get plate glass cut to size to fit (without any sharp edges, of course!)

Hi GG,

When I broke our Fridge shelf, I got a new one cut at the glass merchant in old Pollensa.

Take the first road into Pollensa just past the school on the main road. Then take the first road to the right ´Tito Citaddini´ and then the first right again with the Fruit and plant shop on the corner and the Glass merchant is just on the right hand side.

Cheers
PM.

Hi GG

I have also used the same glass merchants in the old town when I needed a mirror replacing and the service was excellent. I think it only took a day and was very reasonable - would recommend them

Also in the old town.
Go in across the Roman Bridge and then turn first right (restaurant on the corner called Es Moll - I think!) There is a glass merchant about 50m up on the right hand side. I had some glass tops made for my bedside cabinets.
