Well its very muddy, but the concrete is almost in place everywhere for the footpaths and a few new lights have been erected. They are working at a pace, even through all the rain last week.

The villa on the corner is quite a long way below street level!! The new sewer, check the previous photo, is actually above ground!! I don't know how they are going to sort that out!!

The residents of Calle del Pinsa have been told that the base layer of tarmac will be laid before the end of April but that the top finishing coat will be left untill October to allow for any settlement.-

This is just too much to believe! We have found out that the people who are working in the Gommar area have used our water. We have a huge tank which goes under the house. It is completely empty! Not only have they used our water but they have removed our meter too. Yes we have all three lemons up - they have also not given us access to our drive by continuing the kerb along the path.
Can anyone suggest what we might be able to do about this please? I have a few ideas of what I might like to do but may not be such a good idea!

Try speaking to the town hall representative, they have held several meetings with the residents around your area.

Latest news is that the base layer for the roads will commence on Monday 30th March. Pavements are more or less finished. Streetlighting is in the process of being connected. New water supplies are now being connected into the existing meter boxes. The bit that doesn´t appear to be moving is Telefonica. The ducts and access boxes are all in but the old wooden poles and festoons of cables are still there. We understand that each property will be provided with a connection point at the boundary and that it is the householders responsibility to arrange for the wiring from there into the property.
