Sparky, you neglected to get back to me, so I am sat here at home with my bottle of Famous Grouse, and it's now 11.30 a.m., and I don't know what to do!!

Aw well, I suppose I will just have to drink it in Victor's name - Viva Victor!!

I'm with you Rosie and slightly confused about it all. That chick was definitely out of the nest for a long time. Unless the people who run the place were concerned and went in and rescued him as they could see he was unwell. Can't wait for the webcam to resume

Aha sws but they did move the camera a few hours after Victor/ Victoria went missing It was moved to a different angle and not aimed onto the nest.

The next morning the webcam was down............The plot thickens

Back to stork stalking! Dad was being very attentive this morning; extra preening on mum, bringing back soft moss and leaves and moving them all around her.
She then got up - probably getting fed up with all the poking around - and they both started gentle probing of the eggs.
Looks like there are 3 eggs in the nest.
Mum rolled them around a bit, tucked in some moss and sat down on them again, having a little wiggle to get comfortable!
Dad still moving one leaf from one side to the other and back again and cleaning mums wings!
Looks like one nervous dad to be!!

Don't want to raise your hopes, but visiting their FB page, BVCF, they have pictures of a chick with its parents feeding it, I think it's victor!!
