One I did notice was the Mirimar Hotel .I always stop by there for a drink as I love people watching at that spot but never considered eating there . Perhaps I should give it a go next time round.

We have stayed at the Daina on a number of occassions but the evening meal does not look appetising as it's all buffet and I prefer a nice restuarant at night.

Oh I wish I was eating at Stay or La Longa tonight for the food and the views !Will just have to look at the webcam and dream on.

Cheers

Hi Marimar was good although the second time we went potatoes very over seasoned but fillet steak perfectly cooked mine medium rare and my wife had medium.
I think within 2 and 3 yrs will be seriously knocking on the door of Michelin star as could La Llonga.

Sorry I meant Stay & La Llonga could seriously achieve Michelin status.

Where are Dolc Sa Pobla and the Music Bar? that you earlier referred to in PP please.

Must admit I've never seen or heard of them.

Dolç Sa Pobla is a cafe just behind the Church

We eat out on a budget so some of these are for lunchtime.

votes for myself and two daughters:-

1: La Cabana .... love the food esp the chicken and dates

2: Stay .... can only afford lunch but the chicken and chips are lovely and fantastic value

3: La Catina 2 ... great sandwiches

4: Laguna ..... always a favourite

5: Mar Calma .... ate here twice, never busy, good value and very nice food.

Others to mention:
Enjoyed Guru and the Dragon Oriente was a great surprise, went to Cappucino for the first time for lunch which was lovely and reasonably priced, and can't leave out Bellavista for coffee . Not so good ..... Nicos not my cup of tea and Ivy Garden maybe they were having a bad day .... but the food was not great (very oily and bland) and we were sat next to the kitchens which were very hot, won't be returning

that concludes the girlie vote

MWC it might be worth holding back on the final result this year because the half term holidays are very late, actually some go into the first week in November so we may get some late votes .

We had lots of lovely meals in September including several new restuarants. My favorites were:

1. Siruell

2. Celler La Parra

3. Nostalgia

4. Little Italy

5. Illa D'Or Terraza

We also enjoyed O'Lume, C'an Ferrar, La Cantina tapas, La Cabana and Hostel Bahia, Citrus and Nicos. Snacks at Villa Singala and the take-a-way on Formentor Road. All in all a wonderful 10 day holiday.
