Default Hardley's American Diner

Hardley's American Diner is the new Nags Head. Went there the other night for the first time and was very impressed how they have turned it around so quick. There is still a bit of work to do, but it feels clean and fresh and inviting.

Only went in for pre-dinner drinks, but the menu sounds good too. Some of the menu is a bit pricey (although it might be worth it), but they are doing specials for €5.

Anyway, I like to support new places, especially when they are trying to do something different. Would be interesting to hear other peoples thoughts, especially ex-Nags Head goers.

Hi Popimages they did well to get it open again so quickly, phase 2 of the refurb is to follow but it already looks much bigger and brighter. Anna's home cooking is going down well and her cakes are delicious.

We know someone who has been helping out with the refurb. There has been lots to do and they have all been working their little socks off to get it done. Looks like it's worked! Well done to you all!

Default Hardleys american diner

I just spent a week in Mallorca and had breakfast there 5 times. The food was great and reasonably priced at 5.50 for a full english, which came with a drink.
Everyday that we visited there was something new in the bar. I would imagine that come the summer it will look a million dollers!!

I have sampled Anna´s pancake stack for breakfast and burger for lunch (but not on the same day ) and they were both scrummy. The specials change daily and everything is prepared fresh each day and from scratch. They also have tea and a lovely slab of homemade cake to keep you going through the afternoon....yummm.

Hi Kat it used to be the Nags Head and is in Calle Almirant Cervera. They now have free WiFi.

We went to Hardley's last night as they were celebrating the completion of the refit and it was also American Independence Day, Nicki Liles provided great entertainment singing hits from the 50's/60's. I have to say it really does look like a proper 50's diner now, the new lighting is fantastic.
As well as breakfast there are the lunchtime specials for €5. They will now be serving an evening 2 course set meal (changes daily) which includes a drink for €9.95 from 5pm til 9pm.
After 9pm at the bar they have "Spiked Shakes", a variety of Mojito's and Cocktails, all are very large and only €5 each.

Yep, they do an all inclusive meal for €5 which is a choice of burger, hot dog or chicken breast + ice cream + drink (with a top up) and a free lollypop.

we passed here last friday night, planning a quiet one after seeing our daughter off to airport, and heard the mellow sounds of country music
looked in and Leapy Lee was singing the don williams classic I believe in you
so decided to go in and had a great night, LL was on top form singing lots of great songs, from 60s and 70s Dylan to Johnny Cash
sadly there were very few people in that night, but those who were there really enjoyed the show and LL was very entertaining and deserves a larger audience
we were here once years ago as Nags Head and were very impressed with the new look of the bar, staff very friendly, prices okay
