I am sad to report that Hardleys will not re-open, it is now up for sale .
Gary and Anna were reluctant to do this but they had no option. They are very grateful to everyone for supporting them at the diner but will now be concentrating on their other businesses. I would like to wish them good luck for the future .

Is this the result of the economic squeeze of a recession? The start of a trend ?

Pity! There seems to be a lot of money spent on it!

I don't think this has anything to do with recession or the start of a trend just some very bad luck that was thrown their way.I am sure they will pop back up again when you least expect it. Good Luck to them both and to the boys as they embark on their new careers.

sorry to hear this, my son tells everyone about the best breakfast bap he had in there, we met Gary and Anne once, and they are really nice people, hope all goes well for them in the future, and we can meet up with them again, I believe good always comes out of bad situations, hopefully wont be long before they reap the goodness from their situation
