Question Cod Father on The Move?

Someone told me that the Cod Father is to move.
He said that the lease runs out at the end of the season, and the Cod Father is to move to the premises currently occupied by the Ivy Garden!

Anybody know anything?:

Cheers!

I think have noticed The Ivy Garden up for sale on some property pages, in fact there are quite a few of them up for sale, well the lease anyway, sign of the times I'm afraid

Cool Breakfast

Glad to hear the Codfather may be moving.Having sampled the 4.99 euros breakfast last week 1 deep fried plumb tomato 2 deep fried sausages,2 very salty rashers,1 egg,1 slice of toast,a glass of orange juice that could not be drunk as it tasted like fairy liquid.

My wife ordered a bacon bap consisting of one dry bap cut in half with two rashers droped in the middle@3.50.and a cup of coffee that was undrinkable.

They may have problems with the lease, but there is a few more things need tending.

That has got to be the worst chippy on earth! I had fish and chips, wife had cornish pasty and chips the kids had burgers and chips, extremely expensive, extremely greasey, and not very good customer service! The pasty had about 4 pieces of mince in it and I think the wife spat 2 of them out cos it was gristle!
Really poor quality there.in my opinion of course!

Agree with the above - it's a truly shocking place. Shame it's only moving a few streets. A relocation to Magaluf would have been greeted with loud applause from me, my family and everyone I know who has been unfortunate enough to eat there.

Default Bit of an eyesore

We've never eaten in the Codfather but its a bit of an eyesore! We normally eat at Manduca's next door and have to look onto greasy chips and tins of coke. Sound a bit snobish I know but......! Let's hope they don't replace it with a Tex Mex. What about taking over the lease and calling it The Tapas Bar?

I have a feeling it will be vegetarian!

If The Codfather is moving to the Ivy Garden, where is the Ivy Garden moving to?

Yes the Codfather is to move.
The owner of the current Local/premises isn´t renewing the lease and we are moving to number 14 Calle de Levante, which is the Old Ivy Garden restaurant, in front of the Schleker Supermarket.
The Ivy Garden continues in its current location on the Formentor Road.
For those of you who know the old ¨Ivy¨, we will then have the inside seating area and the outside garden terrace.
We will be opening, builders permiting, on Friday the 16th of January and every Friday Saturday and Sunday during low season, of course seven days a week in high season.
Current plans include only opening in the late afternoons and evening (hours T.B.C.), all day Traditional Sunday Lunches and an extended fish menu, to include poached and grilled fish.
Full traditional take away menu, with telephone orders, to continue as is.
We will be releasing bullitins through puertopollensa.com.
Thankyou
Hope to see you there
