Restaurants closing

Well let us hope that there are sufficient tourists to support these ventures. Once again, from a Mallorcan perspective, 2021 is going to be a season to forget.

We are really pleased that Arux just off square is open I would say this is the best place for coffee and snacks near the square, virtually a one man band which opened just weeks before the pandemic hit, but Marcelo and his young family are doing their best to keep going.

Sparrow Dining and Bar is sadly now closed permanently. The owners of the building are not renewing the lease because they want to change it's use.

However the good news is that Lorna and Pepe will be moving to Ikebana next year , wishing them all the luck in the world .

Sadly they did not open this year and have decided to call it quits, such a loss to PP .

It is with deep regret that after lots of thought Pepe and I have decided that due to the current climate we will not take the chance to move Sparrow to Ikebana to start a new venture . We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported us at Sparrow Dining & Bar throughout the years and we move forward with fond and happy memories of our time there. We have met many lovely people and made some life long friends along the way. We wish you all well for the future and hope that you will continue to make precious memories in this beautiful resort. To all fellow businesses, we wish you every success going forward.

It is indeed a great loss. I thought they would been a great fit for the Ikebana.

End of season closure this weekend (24 10.2021)for Casa Márquez restaurant & Sama Restaurant

Chez Antoine has closed down but i am told it will open again soon under new management, will post more info as and when i get it.
