Thanks for the helpful links Mark. I thought it must be but wanted to just check. It is on the list for this year! We always walk to CSV and the Boquer Valley so it will be good to try somewhere new, especially with all those cats there!

Why not also go to Castell del Rei , you can get a permit on line before you go , only 20 people per day allowed .get a taxi from the port to the estate gates .

Last year there were free guided walks organised by the Tourist Information Office.

The one mentioned above to the Coves Blancs was one of them.

Do have a look at the books on the main website puertopollensa.com/Books2.html#walking The book Walk Mallorca! along with the detailed Map have lots of interesting walks organised by level of difficulty.

We've also done several of the day walks with Richard Strutt of Mallorcan Walking Tours too

I set off a couple of years ago from the Sis Pins and walked there and back. For the next couple of days I was walking like John Wayne! Happy memories of beautiful views and it was worth it.

Last year we did our 3 peaks challenge. Set off from the port, walked to the old town , up and down the Puig. Up to the Calvari then back to the port and on to the Talai D'Albercutz and back to the Port. Well deserved G&T's Nico Burger and bed!
Quite proud as one of us is 60 the other not far off. We have the reverse planned for this year ........
pollensa, El Gordo and tangofan like this.
