Default IKEA transport

Hi everybody! I am Tones hunsband Christian. We are arriving Mallorca within very short - to take over our new apartment in Puerto Pollensa. Could anyone tell us if IKEA has any service regarding transportation to Pollenca? And how we do it.

Well, that makes a change from using Resorthoppa!!!!

Seem to recall seeing an IKEA delivery van in the port once or twice. Will the IKEA website have some information? Here in the UK they deliver similar distances but it's not cheap.
One of the advantages of having a Skoda Roomster is the amount of, err, room it provides and which recently managed to swallow an IKEA 4 seater 'L' shaped sette/chaiselonge AND close the back door. If you do use your own/hired transport, things can be reduced in size/volume by removing all the packaging.

Now there's a good idea!

It would be interesting to know if the professionals a) read the instructions first or at he end when things don't fit together,(it's a man thing) and b) do they have many screws bolts and fastenings left over when they have completed the build

Thanks all of you for the information. We will now check prices for a Skoda Roomster, or we will use the IKEA transport. Tone and Christian

If you are buying a large number of items, ie a complete kitchen, or something quite expensive I would suggest you get them to deliver. That way if it arrives damaged there is no dispute about how it happened.
