Please do send her my regards & tell I'm coping with the usual spammers (invisible to the rest of you!). Do let her know that there are loads of places now including the square with wifi - if that helps.! Zelda

Texting
Might be a good idea to go down the text route because if she could use her computer there is a bar not 20 metres away with WiFi.

Well, well, well... Tonsyl and Suemo... a couple of real 'Wessies' eh!
I was born in the City of Wakefield many, many, many years ago; but left as a 'nipper' when my parents moved to the sunnier climes of the east coast of..... "Yorkshire", not Mallorca.
Tonsyl, you're lucky to be "temporary Puerto Pollensa" as you put it!
I've been a bit of a P.P. nut for many, years now; like nearly everyone else on this forum I keep getting drawn back year after year!!! Why can't I just holiday somewhere else like a normal person???

Amateur weather report No 3
It's good news and bad news to-day! The bad is that it is a mixture of sun and showers at the moment and generally overcast, with a temperature (according to the car guage) of 15c. The good news is that the next 3 or 4 days are set to be wall to wall sun and hot enough to boil an egg, well sit out anyway! Right this minute there is not a breath of wind and the bay is like a mill pond.

Hi Pescador,
No I cannot claim to be a real "wessie" as I have only lived in the Riding for 8 years this time and 6 previously. I am actually from Bella's part of the world, well actually the better bit cos she's from London/Kent and I was London/Surrey. I think I can apply for Yorkshire citizenship in about 20 years time, if we are still there (whell anywhere come to that) but the temporary PP bit is our retirement holiday, a long stay for a change which will come to an end all too soon!

Hi peeps just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water..... I am back , we had a very brief power cut on Saturday evening but when it came back on i had no internet, the lights were out on the router so we assumed a surge had blown the router. On Monday a new one was purchased and yesterday a very good friend came to set it up but could not get a connection so phoned Telefonica who said the problem could be in the exchange, i had to wait in for them to go and check it out, late afternoon they said all was well there and would send an engineer out today. Turns out the router is ok but the transformer was dead so a new one has been installed and all is well in the Sparky household again .
I have missed you and it's great to be back.

It is rather dark and cloudy at the moment and we did have a light shower earlier, the wind is very light and the forecast for the next few days is very good with temperatures set to rise.
The pressure is 1017 and rising.
The temperature is 18.1c.
The UV index is 4.

Phew Sparky, You're back !!!!
Call me an old softy if you must but I haven't slept for three nights with worry cos I thought it might be that pesky Seaplane ( or Seapale as Jimbo so quaintly calls it !!! ). What a relief to find out it's the internet !!!
If it had been next week I could have popped round with me dongle and beamed you up !!!!
Must say a few wise words on moderation wouldn't have gone amiss a few times this week cos there were a couple of barbed comments posted .
No names, no packdrill but we all know who I am talking about , eh BELLA ??
Great to have you back.
Get posting on the Dart's final !!!!!
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn n1

Sorry Sparky, I'm just going to hijack your weather thread one more time as I'm not sure where to post my reply - then I'll stop! Glad you have everything sorted out now, must have been very frustrating for you.
Tonsyl; Better Part!!!??? Garden of England my friend. Tread carefully!
Bonyslad; Tell tale. Fight your own battles - if you dare!
