Oh yeah, i'm on Safari now! Those dark clouds remind me of our PP visit last May/June.

At one time if I was in Pollensa dark clouds like these would have send me into a deep depression. But these days they don't bother me too much. I'd just happy to be there.

I remember a couple of years ago, September 2009, it was dreadful for almost a week, lowering skies and torrential rain. I think we had the rainfall quota for the whole year in those few days. One day we drove over to Soller and had to spend the day sheltering in an old bar just by the tram stop. Turned out to be a great day as the bar filled up with a group of Spaniards from the mainland and they included us in their group. I've got hazy alcoholic happy memories.Thank goodness my old man doesn't drink when he's driving otherwise we would have had to spend the night in Soller!

We went back again the following May but the old bar had gone, taken over by new owner and modernised out of all atmosphere. Shame on them!

Was anyone else there at that time?

Yeah, the old 'we'll shelter in this bar' trick works every time. It sounds like you had a great time though, Gilly.

Wow! What a difference a day makes. Glorious sunshine this morning on the webcam!

Looks like the webcam has moved again, too much sky and not enough beach now

But just looked at the cam now and at night the sky is fabulous - all those stars! And just watched what I think was a plane on its way to Palma and wished I was on it (or maybe a ufo

I truly am grateful to Stay for the webcams, and will say my thankyou's in a fortnight - but could there be a tidgy widgy bit toooo much sky and not enough of what is going on just out of shot?

Here's my local webcam http://tinyurl.com/ghasclockcam

If it sets up right, you can pan and tilt to check where the action is. Now wouldn't that be a good added feature for the Staycams

Default Stay's 2nd Web Cam

Am liking the Stay's new second web cam. Doubles our daily dose of PP.
