Default What time does it get dark 2nd week in October ?

This may sound like a silly question but what time does it get dark mid October ?

The reason is I am re arranging our visit planned for 2nd October (due to a litttle accident) to a bit later in October and we would be arriving later in the day than usual.

The rental properties I have found with availability might not be easy to find in the dark so just enquiring when darkness falls to help plan flight times etc.

( I had an accident with carving knife on Sunday and I cant get it wet for a while and is a bit sore to drive with at the moment - picture on my flickr link if interested in seeing why )

No stitches , super glue and steri strips to hold it all in place. ( I thought the nurse was joking at first)

Not sure if it is the same as superglue you buy in the shops.

Does sting though when glue touches a cut

Hi Mark,
Sorry to hear of your accident and hope it heals quickly.
At the moment the sun sets at about 19.45pm so i would say when you get here it will be approx 19.30pm.

... and you took the time to take a photo of it!!?? I'm not sure, but maybe you should have had your head examined too for shock! Hope it heals quickly for you though, look forward to seeing the photo of the hero's scar too at some point - not the point of the knife though!
Take very great care, and enjoy your holiday!

Just think an hour later than UK time so if it's 6 p.m. Uk time it will roughly be 7 p.m. here. Currently getting dark at about 8 p.m. but losing about 4 mins per day now in daylight terms .

The first photo was taken while I was waiting between seeing different nurses etc at the hospital. I was definately in shock at this time

It is not going too well really as the cut has opened up slightly and I have been back to hospital today. The glue and steri strips did not work really.

Too late for stitches so it will have to heal from the bottom of cut upwards, will be a wide scar.

There is a new macro photo taken today before I went back to hospital.
DONT look at my flickr if you are squeamish, there is a full size picture on there....

Going back to hospital again on Monday to be looked at.

We where due to fly this saturday so I will have to move the flight dates, luckily I have not paid for any accomodation or hire car yet, leaving everything until the very last minute.

I know

The villa we normally rent in the countryside is booked, I dont really fancy trying to find somewhere new down a county lane in the dark hence the enquiry.

No early flights from our local airport ( arrives 21:00 in october) so I will look for somewhere easy to find in the dark.
