Default weather last week of May 1st week of June

We visit PP, Majorca, first time next year and were wondering about the weather. We love swimming and beaches and were hoping the waterparks will be warm enough to spend a day at too. How is the water at this time of year ?

Weather shoudl be fantastic .......... hot but not too hot

Waterparks will be fine and I doubt you will need anything more than sleeveless in the evenings

I guess there is more chance of a "bad spell2 in May/June than in July , but only a little bit more

When we still had primary school hols which included 2 weeks in May/June , we always came those weeks( 7 years on the run ) and I can only rememver one year with several days of awful weather ....... other years may have had the odd overcast or rainy day , but generally hot and sunny

son will be glad to hear that the weather should be ok in may, he's just booked a week in alcudia! Got a good deal through a co. called ulookubook. flying out on a thomas cook plane transfer by resort hopper.Hopefully we will also get a week in may. In september we are going to csv. We're staying at the don pedro and before you all groan, its the only hotel we could afford next year. Its somewhere to lay our heads as we nearly always eat out in csv.

Hi folks!

Went to PP in June last year and loved it, best holiday ever.

interested to see this thread - we are looking at the first 2 weeks in May 2008 - does anyone have any experience of then?

Would it be warm enough to swim in the sea (young kids) and eat outdoors, and would the restaurants all be open then?

I love my summer holidays so not sure whether to pay more and go in July!?!?

Cheers

ali

Hi Ali

We have gone to PP in April & May for a few years now and the weather has always been excellent. I much prefer it to the very hot weather in July & August. I don't every remember much rain in April/ May - unlike last October! At night it is colder than July/ August but nothing a jumper wouldn't resolve.
