Convinced i Saw Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet having a drink in Cafe S'Algar in the square last night.Anyone else see him?

Not this year Poppy but he is a regular visitor, seen him around other years, he sang in Pollensa as part of their music festival also

I'm sure you did see him because I know for a fact he is in PP. Last night I went on a sunset cruise on the Tudor Dawn (highly recommended by the way) and Tony and his young family were with us on the yacht!

He's a really nice bloke and very down to earth, I really enjoyed chatting to him. I didn't ask him if he was indestructible though

You should have asked him why the Olympic comittee left it to a couple of days before the closing ceremony before asking him to perform "Gold". No doubt he'd have explained why he (quite rightly) told them to take a hike!

I wasn't sure if he had played the closing ceremony or not so I didnt bring the subject up. he did tell me that he had to fly back from Mallorca on Sunday to play at a Team GB event with all of the Team GB medalists and, bizarrely, the cast of the Expendables 2 - Sly, Arnie, Claude et al!

Simon, He wasn't the only one, Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Noel Gallagher were all asked, but at such short notice decided against,(no rehearsal time). Never mind, we got the Spice Girls

Good to hear he is up and pedaling after his mishap. I guess he will be taking care passing the petrol station in the Port!

There is a tv programme on sky this week about Bradley Wiggins.
Might be worth a watch as I'm reasonably sure that the trailer for the programme shows him training in the Traumantana mountains.
