Hi

I am a regular visitor to pollensa a friend of mine has asked me if I think it is safe to go on holiday to pp on her own, I said I think it is a nice safe place but obviously she would need to be cautious does anyone have any tips on a person being on their own and staying safe

I would imagine PP is one of the safest places you can go to on your own, even at night time it's not a problem. Of course, nowhere is 100% safe, but PP would come close. At the market and other crowded places I'd say to watch your purse/handbag, but other than that I can't think of anything else you need worry about.

Hi Micha - Linz is right your firend would be fine. I think that PP is a very safe place and have no worries at all about being on my own.

Only advice I would give is - like any other tourist resort - watch your bag (read other posts about one-off incidents) take a safety deposit box and don't wander about late at night on your own.

There was an older lady on her own in our apartment block a couple of years ago and she made friends very quickly with other holiday makers - it's that kind of place. We always end up chatting to people we meet in restaurants in the port.
