Inca to PP road closure

It is worth mentioning that the main road from Inca to PP is closed for the next couple of weeks. The closure is at the turn off to Sa Pablo, but the diversions start at Inca and route through Petra. On the way back towards Palma, the routing is around the Sa Pablo ring road. Allow extra time if you need to travel along this route.

Hello Roy and Kate,

I travelled from Palma to PP this morning, and no problem, is it not just the road from the Sa Pobla roundabout to Puerto Alcudia that is closed at the moment, and you can still go round the Sa Pobla roundabout and back to the Pollensa road.

I made a mistake last week at Inca and followed the Puerto Alcudia diversion signs only to find next day the road to PP is ok.

Or has the new diversion just been implemented, as a frequent traveller to Palma any news is welcome,

Ok I have the old trusty map out and my red crayons are sharpened, so where do i draw the new red lines on the map?. When do you expect these roadworks to be finnished?

It's the road from Sa Pobla roundabout to Puerto Alcudia that is closed, diversion signs at Inca are misleading. You can still get to Puerto Pollensa/Pollensa as normal. To get in and out of Alcudia you have to go via Muro or via Pto Pollensa. This will last until at least Feb 25
