Default Early October weather ?

Had to cancel last week's holiday due to covid but now thinking about 1st week in Oct. I appreciate that there might be a bit of rain but is it still OK at that time if year.

Many years ago we used to come the first week in October and we were lucky 9 times out of 10.

You get used to the days being good but do notice it getting dark earlier, for us in those days we ate out earlier in the evening with some long sleeves.

I would recommend if you need a PP fix this year.

We always found October to be a bit unpredictable - one year it was extremely hot for our 3 weeks, and another time, there were storms and rain at times. But, that never deterred us and we loved every minute. Sad that we can't come this year, despite booking a year ago

I think it’s a lovely month. Generally decent weather, lots of places still open and a quieter pace. We’ll be out again this year.

I agree with Disorderly. October a beautiful month - days are a little shorter and sometimes you get some rain. But most places are open and a little quieter which we love.Always warmer than the UK.

Have a look back at Sparky's weather reports for previous years.

when we came out in late Oct 17 to view some properties, the weather was amazing with highs of 28 degs. Obviously its not always like that unfortunately, but just shows what's possible!
