If any of you are wondering why Sparky has gone AWOL, may I reassure you that all is well, and the absence of the daily weather report, or indeed any of her other invaluable insights, is entirely due to her trusty laptop having died and being in need of urgent replacement.

I’m assured that normal service will be resumed ASAP. In the meantime, we all miss you Sparky!

I think that Sparky should have a full studio with live broadcasts at a set time each day. Perhaps a backdrop of the sea or even outside broadcasts from her favourite bars and restaurants. Move over Judith Chalmers.
