Default What....no Love Island thread?

Okay, okay....I know its a totally vacuous TV show that only complete air heads would watch (inc my wife & daughter ), but as its on the Island of Mallorca, I have to watch it occasionally to check the weather.

Judging by the scenery, I reckon the Villa is around Inca somewhere....anyone know? The other day, they had the big storm come through, so reckon its running a day late to allow for the uber editing required.

Reckon we should do our own version, show these youngsters what a proper six pack is and get a free holiday without worrying about rental restrictions or any other nonsense. Sorry I didn't mean six pack I meant a Watneys party seven, (that's a big can of beer to you youngsters) Not having any of that hanky panky nonsense though I'm on tablets.

Six pack? That's nothing. I've got a twelve pack.
Heard one of these air heads in the radio . She thought leaving the EU would mean we'd have to chop down all our trees. ??????? Beggars belief.

Talking of six pack reminds me of the time I remarked to my friend that having taken care of myself over the decades, I had the body of a Greek god.

his response was, you certainly have, it looks like it's 2000 years old.

Mortified !

I've decided that the only way to watch it, is with the sound turned off! It's far too stressful otherwise.

Sometimes Martin, you have to watch these things in the name of research, but after completing that research, I've come to the conclusion that........you are right!

Default British affair with Love Island

Well, a sort of connection to Love Island to keep Rockape interested.. Yesterdays 'Bricks and Mortar' section of The Times (15th June) had a piece about the Mallorca property market. (prices ranging from £1m-£30m)

quote "For instance, he advises buyers to look inland at Pollença, rather than Port de Pollença. “It is authentic, steeped in history and offers relative value for money compared with the port. You can get an apartment for €600,000, a townhouse for about €800,000 and a villa on the outskirts for €1 million. You are a five-minute drive from the coast and it is a lot less busy and developed.”"

It confirms what we all know - we should have bought a well positioned apartment all those years ago, when we first fell in love with PP

Strictly in the interests of research, I had a look at the new Australian Love Island last night on ITVbe. I was delighted to see the new Villa is set back about a mile from the bay of Pollensa and has the most amazing view right over my house and beyond.

I went to my doctor the other week for a "mid age" check up (aka as getting on). She said to me that I had "the body of a temple." At least that's what it sounded like to my ears.

Eyes and hearing test at Specsavers for me this Saturday, next.
