For all those who do not compute, declare and pay their "non-resident tax" themselves, here is the appropriate link:

https://www2.agenciatributaria.gob.e...M210/index.zul

Just fill in, print ".pdf" for your records and pay as instructed in ".pdf"

We paid our non resident tax in December as normal and have no idea what this is about. Unfortunately our accountant is on annual leave and unless we pay by the 20th August they will send in bailiffs.

The amount is about a third of what we would normally pay annually.

Have anyone else had similar letters or know what this about?
You should be able to go to your local tax office and pay it.

It used to be in INCA. Not been there since it became possible to file and pay via Internet.

For PP it is in Pollensa. Carrer de Ramon y Cajal (runs between the cloisters/church and Clivia restaurant.)

Just paid ours at Tony De La Cruz. Obviously they charge for their administration but I think it's worth it or perhaps I'm just lazy.

Thanks GG. I have paid at the bank.

Turns out our accountant made a mistake on our 2016 return and this was a demand for the balance.

Since I need to double check our accountant's figures, I have some questions for you experts out there.

I have form 210 "Impuesto sobre la Renta de no Residentes
No residentes sin establecimiento permanente"

Apart from personal details, the only inputs seem to be:-

* the catastral number, ( where do I find the value)

* value for Renta inmobiliaria imputada ( this seems to vary each year)

* Tipo de gravamen Ley IRNR (%) .. always seems to be 19%

* Cuota íntegra ... ( this is the final calculation).

The error made by the accountant seems to have been the application of a percentage against the catastral value - whether it is 1.1% or 2%

I know some of you do your own returns so I would be grateful for your advice since I may be doing the same.

Thanks in advance

Due to Brexit (or the fact that we're now a 3rd country) the 19% rate is no longer applicable from the 2021 financial year. It's 24% now. This will apply to your returns submitted in 2022.

* the catastral number, ( where do I find the value) from your council tax bill which you receive each October

* value for Renta inmobiliaria imputada ( this seems to vary each year) base figure for the castaral which is also taken from your council tax bill (this changes depending on the age of property as to how it is calculated)

* Tipo de gravamen Ley IRNR (%) .. always seems to be 19% As stated in other thread 24% from 2021 - Brexit the gift that keeps giving

* Cuota íntegra ... ( this is the final calculation). generally 19 (or 24)% of the Renta inmobillaria

The error made by the accountant seems to have been the application of a percentage against the catastral value - whether it is 1.1% or 2% It did change dependant on the age of your property and also it changed based on when the Catastral value was last calculated.

I know some of you do your own returns so I would be grateful for your advice since I may be doing the same.

Thanks in advance
