Do you have the contact details of the CEO? I have been trying to go through the ‘normal’ channels promoted on the Bankia website and am going completely loco! Many thanks Shaun |
We just came across a new crafty bank charge at La Caixa. We're generally pretty happy with them but recently noticed some entries on our accounts showing small charges varying between 1 & 3 euros. I queried this & it turns out that they now charge you this if you ask for a printed copy of your bank statement when you go into the branch. Apparently you should now choose to get a mini statement from the 'cash' machine outside. To be fair, the lovely chap at the counter immediately removed the charges but probably won't in the future.
Another surprise development was that I couldn't pay cash (euro notes) into my account at the counter inside the branch. That too now has to be done using the machine outside. I have to say that it was easy to do but part of me regrets the new lack of human interaction when doing this. |
Lorenzo, have you looked at the CaixaBank app? No need for statements as it’s all there. I’ve found it very useful.

I'm really happy with Sabadell at the moment. I get on well with the chap on the counter and I've had some nice conversations with Toni the deputy manager. He's really helpful and understanding.
