Flights are more expensive than this year..I know we have paid about £100 more for July 2012 and the same for October for the 4 of us...also hold baggage is now up to £30 per case .

I know i've been ranting about the disappearance of flights from Scotland in Winter. Wasn't planning to come over, but the lure of PP had me checking out alternatives, after a bit of research have booked the following:

Fri 13 Jan Easyjet Glasgow- (06.55)Stanstead. Ryanair Stanstead/Palma arrive: 13.25

Sunday 22 Jan Easyjet Palma/Stanstead(14.10 Ryanair) Easyjet Stanstead/Glasgow arr 18.45.

Total price: £190 (for 2) Not bad. Doubt if the situation with Winter flights from Scotland will change any time soon.

In the film Sexy Beast, Ian Mc Shane was quizzed about the prospect of breaking into the bank, his reply "There is a way, there's always a way"

Easyjet have said that they will be trialling allocated seating on some routes next Spring. No routes yet announced.

I have contacted them regarding allocated seating and the response is that if you are booked on a flight that is part of the trial you will be notified a few weeks before hand..lets see

Having used the new terminal at palma last week i suggest folk put the points toward a pair of comfy walking shoes cos you are sure going to need them to get back to baggage reclaim

If it means we get the luggage quicker I wont mind the walk as it must take longer there to come through than anywhere else we go !

It always was a bit of hike upon landing, BTW whats 'baggage reclaim'? Easyjet sale ends today, last chance to get 20% off some flights

"Baggage reclaim" is the belt area you go to get you're luggage.

I used to think that but over the last 2 years gatwick now takes the prize for me. Last september 55mins to get the bags. This week 4pm on monday over an hour after getting off the plane before we got outside the building. The passport control has now turned into total farce

I agree about passport control..it was as bad in January as it was in July/October last year..We too landed were in the newer terminal in Jan and it is a fair hike...although terminal A was a little shabbier it was nearer..

never mind at least we have3 to get into training for the next one
