Thanks for that - have just booked a short break end Jan for 2p each! - plus £8 each Credit Card charge! Even so £16.04 for 2 people return isn't bad!

Pollensa didn't you have to pay the hold luggage fee of £20 pp, or are you going hand luggage only?

I nearly booked flights this morning but the convenience of Luton being half an hour from us will make me stick with Easyjet .

Great deals but how they can they justify an £8 credit card charge on a 2p transaction? From experience with Natwest's Streamline, the credit card companies don't charge that much per transaction, even American Express!

To answer all the questions:

We only take hand-luggage now & it is only a Weds-Mon trip.

Stansted takes us about 40 mins so it's great for us.

The CC handling charge was crazy but they have to charge some sort of 'handling' charge & get away with advertising the flight prices as 'Free'.

I'm really got very keen on their tactics but we were intending to book a break in Jan so it would be silly not to take advantage of them.

If you pay by visa electron with Ryanair there is no additional charge.£16.00 per couple saving every booking - Its well worth getting one for regular Ryanair fliers especially as they are free.

It's hard to ignore offers like this but as a matter of principle I would rather swim to Mallorca than fly with Ryanair. Friends, family and I myself have had too many bad experiences of the airline. I was disappointed when Air Berlin out of the Stansted/Palma route as they were a good alternative to Easyjet. Presumably they pulled out because Ryanair pulled in....

Default Ryanair

Ryanair have pulled their Edinburgh to Palma route during the winter. Globespan also are only flying once a week from Edinburgh and once a week from Glesgy. Bit of a bummer.

Whats the best way for us Scotchlanders getting to Palma in the winter?
