Default Brilliant EasyJet

We departed Gatwick on Tuesday at 13.00 which is when the baggage handlers shift changes. Rather than finish the job, they decided to down tools exactly on time and leave 7 (yes 7) bags to be loaded for the next shift. One can imagine that the next shift would have arrived sometime later, after the obligatory cup of tea at the start of the shift, leaving us fuming.

All credit to the EasyJet pilot who got out and loaded the bags himself to much applause from the passengers.

After despair it gave us hope.

That story needs to be heard. EasyJet is my airline of choice, and this doesn't surprise me at all - all credit to the pilot.

Ah, Easy jet. On our departure from Gatwick 2 weeks ago, we turned up at the gate to find the plane was not there. They did not know where the plane was. I kid you not. They had to radio around to find exactly where it had been left. Then followed a 15 minute bus trip to reach it and I'm not exaggerating . It was so far on the outskirts, that the driver had to go out onto the public roads to get round the other side. Then on the return from palma. They led us out on to the tarmac and we stood there for over 30 minutes in thunder and lightning waiting for a bus, even though they knew the plane had not landed and were told to leave us in the terminal. Apart from that it was dandio
Disorderly and Belladonna like this.

Really felt sorry for the Steward on that flight. He took all the stick. Wasn't his fault.
