I was going to say Bob Beamon but thought my daughter won't know who I'm talking about , so thought I'd use the current Olympic long jump champion.....just can't win sometimes!!

To get back on thread.

Believe me it's not just a row of stones at the waters edge. They are about 4 ft deep at the shoreline and it is almost impossible to walk into the sea. Not only that, apart from the stones, the beach looks a complete mess and I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend the day there, especially with young children.
