It's worth a trip here just for their excellent wine @ €6 but the food is so good (particularly the suckling pig ) and great value too ..... just wish I could have been there with you Smiddy !

Hi Meg 1973, yes, he is so like Roger/Rodger Federer!!

We ate here last week and got the last table at 7.30, they had a lot of reservations so beware in high season, book ahead!

The chicken breast in pepper sauce is wonderful and the sangria is very strong!!

Always looks busy when we drive past and if the last table in April was at 7:30 it must be good if so many are booked.

It's a while since we have been so we must try it again

Do they do anything vegetarian ?

Starters:
Tuna Fish Salad
Majorcan Salad (Trampó)
Asparagus with Mayonnaise
Endives in Roquefort Sauce
Pa amb Oli
Gazpacho
Tumbet

Mains:
Vegetable Paella
Calamar a la Plancha
Grilled Squid
Hake
Mussels in White Wine Sauce
Grilled Prawns

Having said that I suspect they may have more options that aren't listed on their online menu so would recommend you ask in the restaurant.

I've had both the trampó and tumbet as starters and they are excellent.

Thanks Sparky and Doogz

It's my wife that is vegetarian although she will eat chicken if I have cooked it ( don't tell anyone though...)

Looks a good possibility as we have someone staying with us for a few days on our May holiday and I am trying to think of somewhere different to take them with a bit of character away from the front line as if I dont plan something all they will see is pine walk as they will only be with us for 4 nights and the 6 euro house wine will be very useful

Indeed you can. I'd put the house red up against wine 4 times the price and it would still win.

We've often eaten at Cellar on a lunchtime and it is very much more "laid back" due to the lower pressure level on the kitchen. Alex does like to know if there is something in particular you want from the menu so he can make sure it's available. In fact we have more than once had a decent lunch there on our last day and driven straight down to the airport for an early evening flight...........sure beats airline food but watch the wine !!
