Smile Ciderdaves trip report.

Just recently had a week in Puerto Pollensa and would like to share our experiences in the restaurants where we ate with other users.
"Manduccas" in the sqaure.
Wonderful choice of pizzas and excellent value. Crepes are to die for too. Lovley friendly people nice atmosphere.
"Stay" on the marina.
Beautiful setting and fine dining food. Excellent but a little expensive but worth a visit.
"Mojito steak house" in the square.
Good food but rather expensive for what it was. Charge per person for bread and olives.
"Numero Ocho" in Pollensa Old Town.
Wonderful Mussels in wine and cream at 9.95euros. Very yummy.
"Brisas Marina" on Pine Walk.
Paella lovley and the salmon ravioli. Nice view of the sea and pine walk. Reasonably priced but there again didnt ask for bread and olives and charged 1.60euro per person.
"Tribecca" road just behind pine walk.
All starters 5 euros. All mains 10 euros and desserts 5 euros. Good choice. Lovley food very well presented a little like fine dining but a reasonable price. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere too. Busy and had to book for our second time. That busy they were having to turn people away.
Have read previous posts about here and dont understand. Our experience of here was very good and can certainly recommend a visit.
Bread and olives was charged at 2 euros for the table.

Smile Nice and friendly

May I just point out that the waitress that served us in Tribecca was really nice and friendly was smiling all the time. She was very experienced and when we chatted to her she told us that it was her first year with the owners who have been running the restaurant for 12 years.

I enjoyed your 'to the point' report Dave And glad you had a good meal at Tribeca - isnt it strange how experiences can differ for the same place - we had a really bad meal there last year

Where in Pollensa old town is Numero Ocho - my oh loves mussels

Think you may mean 'Brisas' on the Pine Walk as 'Brisas Marina is more or less opposite the Stay jetty.

Enjoyed your report, you seemed to have had some positive eating experiences.
