Yes, the Port was buzzing again last night and even the places not taking part were quite busy, the atmosphere was brilliant again as well .

Tapas at Rustic Cafe by pollensa, on Flickr
We had a great night out on the Tapas Route - see my photos on Facebook & also in the Pollensa Forum group on Flickr. I'm ashamed to say that we only managed 4 places - Rustic Cafe (see me above with Denise the organiser of the 'Ruta'), Hardleys, Ivy Garden 49 & Cafe Bellavista (out of 17) and then met Sparky at Nostalgia for another 2 hours... or so....
As everyone is saying the whole port is lively on that night & even places who are not participating, such as the restaurants, are benefiting. It really is an excellent way to try out some new places, as we did, & then go back another night.
So do try it when you're next out & Try Somewhere New!!

Sod's law, innit - we're coming on Friday next and leaving on Wednesday - so no Thursday - grrr, but the day job intrudes!
Hopefully we'll make up for it on Saturday!

We had a lovely evening doing part of the tapas route when we were out in early April - it's a fabulous idea and even early in the evening the bars were packed. The tapas were very generous (and delicious) too - so much so that when we went out to eat afterwards I was already full! And we'd only visited three places - some of the tapas is in incredibly generous portions! It was a lovely mixture of locals and tourists - and it's a cheap night out, hardly more than the price of a packet of crisps in the UK.
Hope the route in Pollensa manages to establish itself too, after such a rocky start.

This has just been posted on FB :-
Sorry to say Makassar and Pic-Nic are dropping out of the route for the month of May. We thank them for their participation in the route and hope to see them back later in the year.
