So in what way does it look different Sparky ?

Are we lalking a new plastic & shiny place or just a new coat of paint etc on the old place ?

Do you think it will still be a focus point for locals or will that all change.
Do I have it right that the new Cultural is situated on Av De Juan now ?

If so, any good ?

The people who ran the old Cultural have opened a place on C/Roger De Flor and have taken the name with them.
I don't know the new name of the bar (in the square) it is not open yet.

Not plastic! large copper lampshades,subdued lighting and the bar looks ceramic/marble but didn't go close enough to tell. Loos all in different places . Stage has been lowered,new tiles on floor. A real makeover. Not sure about a focal place for locals they still support Manolo and Tina in the Bar Culrural which is as Sparky says on C/Roger De Flor. Its a shame the owners didn't think the public were worth spending money on before they wanted to run it themselves.

Has the bar opened yet and if so what's it like

No we are still waiting but i am told it is virtually finished so could be any day now.;)

I am told that the bar will open at 7am tomorrow morning :D.

It definitely opened, will need more outside tables as the season unfolds.

The bad news is that they had a break-in overnight and the TVs, Ciggy machine and safe were nicked :mad::mad:.

Lynn, I wont ask what you were doing in the mens toilets but nice to see everything looking so bright and clean! Heard a few places were broken into this week, bad news but I am glad that they still opened.
