Default Mirch Masala

Looking for some feedback on whether or not Mirch Masala is worth a try? We thought it would be nice to try a takeaway for a change and my husband is a big fan of a good curry. Also can anyone give me directions where to find this? Many thanks

Have eaten in many times and also had a few take-aways, never had a bad meal. Mirch Masala is in C/Medico Lopis, opposite the Flora Aparthotel and close to Trio restaurant.

I have eaten there too. I have also had take-aways.
As Sparky says, "never had a bad meal."

I took two "picky eaters" there earlier in the month. They went back again the following night! (Enough said?)

Cheers!

Never had a take-away from Mirch Massala, but can certainly vouch for the eat-in food. You won't get a better curry in the port. The menu is also very good value.

Nice people too.

I went there about a week ago. The food was lovely but I was a bit embarassed to be given a lolly at the end of my meal (I'm 19). It was great value and everyone enjoyed their meals though.

Take it as a compliment

Visited Mirch Masala last week for sit in meal. Food was lovely but service was very poor. We were a party of 5 and 3 meals were served then a wait of almost 10 minutes before the other two meals arrived and then a further 5 mins for the nan breads by which time two of our party had finished their main course. Other tables seemed to be receiving similar poor service and were very disgruntled! Shame as food tasted lovely. Only other feedback would be portion sizes were small.

I am glad you enjoyed the food, we always find portion sizes are ideal for us and i have heard people say the service is slow but we have never had this problem.

A Mallorcan friend went to a restaurant in the Town last Saturday with family, i think 12 in total, the table had been booked for 9pm and by 11.30pm, 4 of them had still not had their main course, they walked out in the end. My friend is a regular customer by the way, now that's what i call bad service .

food was excellent, service good, not rushed... quite busy, recommend it!

I agree with Pips and Tequila. Ate there last night. Food was great, very tasty, lovely soft juicy meat and sauces that each looked different from the other (I hate it when you order 3 different dishes and they all come out looking the same!). Service was good considering they were very busy.

Just to clarify my earlier post. Two other families eating there the same evening as us were similarly disappointed. We didn't have the MDD just had main courses and left hungry. My curry had 5 small pieces of chicken in it and I would never normally finish a curry if we eat out at home as I am not a big eater by any imagination! Would agree food was tasty but to serve us all at different times is just not acceptable in my book. Its maybe a good thing we all have different expectations. We had several excellent meals during our stay. In particular at Bahia, excellent paella. Maxims in the square. Stay was superb as always and is my favourite in the port. C'an Cuarassa is also very good as was C'an Josep. Was disappointed with Tiberi this year and used to like it here.
