Oh I'm really excited, I've been and what a wonderful view, well worth the scary drive. Bumped into a friend who offered to take us, it was a bit cloudy so photos weren't as good as they could have been but I will have the picture in my mind for ever.

Still as good as usual, enjoyed the peace and quiet, sun and the view - oh and the beer/coffee as well!

They have cut back a lot of the vegetation this year opened up the whole area in front of the restaurant, even more marvelous than normal, please go and enjoy. A full lunch if you feel up to it to sit in the table clothed area.

Excellent.

We had a trip to La Victoria a couple of weeks ago as we had never ventured that way before for some reason so after reading this thread off we went. Wow - wish we hadn't left it till now as the views are fab. We didn't eat at La Victoria though, we stopped on the way back down just before Bonnaire for a drink at a cafe (possibly S'Illot?) which also had lovely views across to PP and Formentor. We will be taking better footwear when we return in September to follow one of the signposted trails further up the coast.

Hiya Rosie,
This first link tells u how to get there and also opening times, fone number etc:

Mirador de la Victoria Restaurant

... the second link has a 360 webcam of the view and surrounding terrain:

Mirador de Victoria Alcudia.. Majorca, Mallorca, Spain, Balearic Islands. published: 29/08/2007 16:32:09.

There are walking trails nearby, if ur into that and doing a daytime visit.
Dinner is a must... booked to coincide with the sun setting. We have always found the food, welcoming staff, location and view make this a very special restaurant.

Miriam

Thanks Miriam for this link to the webcam - I now can see what it's like on a beautiful day.
