Default The best Pa'amb oli?

I love this stuff! I remember trying it on my first ever trip to Mallorca and have attempted to seek it out on all subsequent trips since.

Does anyone share my passion? If so, where have you found the best to be served in the PP/old town area?

Mearsy i think it is Corb Mari and it's on the front just before the Pinewalk. Their outside area is what you see on the BH webcam....when it's working .

Try the newly opened Can Miquel in the old town. Remember that 'real' Pa amb oli is Mallorcan bread with oil and squeezed ramat tomatoes, but most people think of it with either cheese or jamon york or serano(or a combination. Everyone serves it a bit differently. It's great research trying them all out Bon provecho as I think they say here

I've only ever had it the original way, as it's perfect just like that. I dare say trying the different variations would be a good excuse to keep eating it throughout my holiday.

Just at the entrance to the old town, near the monument and almost alongside the Picolo forno restaurant of recent fame in this forum

Hotel Juma always do it that way (unless you ask for it differently, also perhaps try Bar Nou, La Fonda Almoina or Eu Centro also in the village or Cafe Espanyol. In fact Mearsy, try it in all of them !

Aha! Thankyou. I've just found it's very own website. The Tapas selection is mouth watering.

The place that served the best to me was believe it or not............The Sis Pins It was the 1st thing my daughters tasted on their first ever visit to Mallorca. And they loved it!!!!
On a good day The Corner Bar (Bar Cultural) does a not too bad version.

You must try the pa'amb oli at La Parra. Even the Mallorquins think it can't be beaten. We usually share it as a starter (as an alternative to bread and ali oli or may be too much). I make it lots at home but can't get the same flavour as in La Parra
