Ca'n Panxo - delicious!

What a fabulous place! After using trip advisor and this forum for restaurants we decided to try out this place. Not sure if it was there last year as its next to Hells Kitchen and we ate there last year and didn't notice ca'n Panxo.... Anyway, what a delight!
Husband had Tahiki (think that's right!) Tuna - absolutely delicious!
I had black pig which was mouth wateringly good! The children shared a spaghetti bolognese which was delicious and more than enough for a 5 and 3 year old to share. Desserts arrived on a tray for us to choose from - they all looked amazing but we both went for a bannoffee pie. OMG! Divine!!
With a bottle of red, couple of fresh oranges and a half litre of water the bill came in at 70euros.
Excellent value I felt for an excellent meal.

Agreed! I put a review on TA as we only went there on our last evening unfortunately. The waitress said they'd only been open for 4/5 months but I thought the food was gorgeous too. Hope it's still as good next year!!

Did either of you notice if they had much veggie stuff, when we went past they didn't have a menu on display and we need to check before we go in if there is anything for us, so we didn't bother in the end. Would love to try it if they do!

I'm so pleased to finally see a review on here for this restaurant as it seems to be wildly popular on TA - it looks great (black pig - gorgeous!) Looks like another excellent addition to PP eating places.

Good morning from the Maricel apartments.

We had the Black pig on Sunday and it was beautiful.
Totally agree with all comments.

The sun is shining so we're off to the beach shortly.

Colin and i went there last night........WOW!!!!. The place was packed but the staff were very welcoming and efficient.

We had bread, olives and alioli. The bread was a very dark brown with a lovely nutty flavour .

Most of the starters are to share, we had the homemade pate with pink grapefruit marmalade....fabulous!!!.

We both had the black pig and mango which was served with pan fried veggies and pureed potato......fantastic!!!.

We don't do dessert but they were all homemade and served in jam jars .

So we had great experience and will definitely go back .
