Default Scratching A Seven Year Itch

It's seven years since Mrs Toshie and I last visited PP. We're just back after seven wonderful days. Our first time in August - and it was hot and busy. We ate out every night and here are our opinions on some old favourites and some new ones.
Day One - Brisas on the Pine Walk. It was always our first port of call at the beginning of the holiday, but I'm afraid we won't be going back. The food was overcooked and my sole was dry. Could they have been under heat lamps?
Day Two - C'an Josep. First time here and it won't be the last. Excellent food and very friendly service.
Day Three - El Posito. Nothing can be said that hasn't already been said. One of our favourite restaurants anywhere.
Day Four - Bar Coral. Another old favourite where we discovered tumbet on our first ever visit to PP. Busy restaurant and good, simple food.
Day Five - Osteria N 15. Another first time visit and one of the highlights of the dining week. Beautiful fresh tagliatelli with prawns.
Day Six - C'an Cuarassa. Lunch rather than dinner in this beautiful restaurant a short taxi ride from the Port. The most expensive meal at close to 70euros, but worth every cent.
Day Six - evening. Pizza and a salad at Maxims in the square. Nice, crispy salad and ultra-thin pizza.
Day Seven - Last night at El Posito. A testament to the quality is that, with so many other restaurants to choose from, we opted for a second meal here.
Prices for dinner, including wine and water, ranged from 41 euros at Bar Coral to the 70 euros at C'an Cuarassa.
A relaxing holiday for Mrs T and me, if a wee bit too warm! Our visit rekindled our love for the Port and I know it won't be seven years before we're back.

Thanks for a great review. We also visited El Posito twice this year and never regretted it. So pleased you discovered another favourite of ours - C'an Josep.

Don't leave it another 7 years until next time......you'll be scratching and scratching!
