Good value restaurants

We are looking for good value restaurants any recommendations. We like all food types, Spanish, Chinese, indian, tex mex, English obviously, Italian. Going on a budget but want to eat out as much as we can. Family of three but one is a 17 year old who can eat for England.......

Trio is great value and very reasonable and Hells Kitchen is good English Food. Also Golden Lion - enormous helpings, dont forget Sparrow!

Agree with Rosie Golden Lion half chicken chips and salad last year about 9 euros could also get with garlic bread desert and drink for 13 last year.

Nico's - Tex Mex in the Square, do a reasonably priced set menu. Also C'an Ferrar, quite a lot of fish and chicken dishes and home cooked chips, reasonably priced.

Luna de Miel, Chinese Menu by the roundabout, has had good reviews recently by forum members.

Also I have read good reviews about a new restaurant, Ambrosia, on Almirante Cervera 4, just round the corner from the sea front, seems to serve good burgers and pizzas amongst other things.

La Roda great value for money and service. Tapas (home made) and wine excellent and very reasonable.

Good family atmosphere.

I would agree on La Roda and suggest in addition Can Tofol. Both offer an excellent and inexpensive selection of tapas and drinks a fraction the price of the front or square. Plenty of atmosphere as well. La cantina2 offers a very good selection of take away food if you can eat in an apartment.

Have a wander along the Pine Walk and try pizza or pasta in Laroc, just off the main walk...lovely. Then keep walking along and have a drink on the terrace at the Ila Dor hotel, defy you not to love it there (wine and beer prices OK for a high end hotel).
