I must admit I was wondering do the fish ever get full? Perhaps not so effective at the end of the day?

Do you realy want to take the thread in this direction, "The digestive process in Fish"

What goes in must come out comes to mind!

Further to this topic, I am sure I saw a "GROUPON" offer for this treatment offered in Palma recently. However the offers are time limited and change every day.

PS I don't work for them or promote them, but I have bought offers in UK and stayed in some nice hotels at good rates with them.

Post Garra Rufa Fish

I have just been to one of the salons in Alcudia and have to report that I wasn´t that impressed with my fishy pedicure.

Salon was very clean, staff were lovely but the fish just didn´t want to nibble my tootsies ! No comments please BD ! The lady said they nibble the easy dry skin away first and then go onto the harder skin (sorry if you are eating reading this) but in my mind, I want them to get rid of the thick drier skin not just the easy bits ?? A few fish had a nibble but then they lost interest and just ignored my feet altogether

I did get the impression she was trying to sell me a course but after the first go, I wouldn´t be going back. Hubby tried the salon in Palma behind El Corte Ingles and said it was very good and his hands looked much better, so I guess the fish I had were obviously full up !

Please don´t take this as a "stay away" message, I just wanted to post my experience and give a balanced opinion. They seem to be springing up all over the place now and I agree that you would need to check the cleanliness of the place and that the fish are all actively swimming around before you go ahead.

What a shame it wasnt a good experience for you. It obviously has to be sorted out what time is best etc etc. I would be interested in hearing in detail about it all but maybe as a PM!
