Default chill out bar

My daughter and I stayed with some good friends, this summer in their beautiful villa outside PP.

Not far from them, there is a fantastic new bar/restaurant opened earlier this year in Bon aire. Its called the chill out bar and it really is amazing. Huge sofas, swinging chairs from trees, candles and all outside though there is an inside bar area too. Food was a little unusual and not cheap but the chill out area for drinks was so well, 'chilled out'.

Don't forget to book for dinner if you are in a large(ish) group as I've seen various families turned away from here when not booking - they don't seem to be able to cope with groups without prior notice. It's a great place to enjoy a pre dinner drink and just relax though....

I think I know where you mean. I only noticed it driving back after going through the marina and then turning back home again, as it is up high on the corner. We didnt stop though as we were looking for somewhere inside for lunch at the time, but they were open and setting up.

Yep, definitely still there, drove passsed it the other day. As for directions, its on the right hand corner as you drive down towards the sea. Further round is the Crocadillo (or something like that !) that has been posted about recently. At present, there's a lot of work being done around the harbour wall so it may be difficult to park (and probably not very 'chilled' during the day!).

Many thanks to Pollensa for finding this thread for me.

I want to find this place of I can, but the directions given mean nothing to me I'm afraid. Can someone enlighten me with how to find it? I havn't been to PP for a few years now, so unfamiliar with certain place names.

I should think it's on the way to 'Victoria'. The little port cocodrilo mentioned above can be seen in this Google Map Mal Pas - Google Maps but I'm not sure where the bar is.

Hello everyone
Can anyone tell me if this lovely chill out bar is open this year? Last time we stayed in Bonaire we spent many evenings there. We are returning in July and desperate to know if it is still there.
If only I could remember it's proper name.
Can anyone help?

I'd like to know too! We found it by chance a couple of years ago as we were driving to Victoria. It was lovely & laid back & served great cocktails. Unfortunately the driver (not me) can't indulge!

It is in Bonaire on the
Av. del Mal Pas, 1, bajos. CP: 07409. Bonaire. Alcúdia
on the right-hand side, on the corner - Look out for it as you go down the hill towards the sea, just after the scuba place - OceanoSub

see Chill Out Bar, Bonaire - Google Maps

& YouTube -Lounge & Chillout im 5oceanos in Bonaire

We went there the other day, definitely open. The non-alcoholic fruit cocktails are great too for the driver!

Ooh that's great news. Thanks so much for the info. Won't be long now until we're sipping Mojitos and feeling very chilled!

Hi everyone.
That place belongs to a spanish singer call Antonio Orozco. You can watch some of his videoclips on youtube. I hope you all have a good holiday!!!!
