Default Restaurant in courtyard in alcudia old town

Saw a post some time ago about a highly recommended restaurant in Alcudia old town
It did s great lunchtime MDD for about 12 euros and was served in the garden courtyard of a small hotel

Can't find it now

Anyone know where it is I am thinking about?

We went to Satyricon in April and sat on the terrace at the back of this beautiful restaurant. We didn't want a huge meal so we chose their lunchtime special...
3 delicious tapas served on a slate board plus a glass of cava or beer for about 10 €. It wasn't a feast but very very delicious and beautifully presented. Well worth a visit

Definately C'an Pere - The hotel interior is stunning and the courtyard is a nice place to be.

I have eaten there twice, both in the evening at full price, and we were sadly disappointed on both occasions. The food was slow and the service wasn't too friendly. Must be 18 months/2 years ago, so it may well have changed, but now we always walk past, wishing that our experience had been different.

Like Satyricon it was at the top end of pricing, so perhaps as an MDD offering it will be worth another look.

It was a real shame as it is one of those restaurants that we really wanted to like - Great setting and the interior is a superb example of how to create a contemporary environment within a historic building.

Walked down the little street last week on which Can Pere is situated intending to eat there. However on strolling along we were hassled by the guy outside and when we wanted to look at the menu he was really pushy so we walked off in the end. It looked lovely in the courtyard but he just wouldn't back off and this always annoys OH. We got back in the car and ended up in Tolo's where we had a fantastic meal

I can recommend Satyricon too - amazing interior, and they were very welcoming. As Debz says the tapas lunch is very good if you aren't too hungry. They also have a little courtyard out the back, which is very pretty on a sunny day.

We went to Can Pere ..... Walked past about 11 and booked a table for 1pm

On return there was a guy on the door who looked like he would have hassled us, had we not walked inside before he had chance ( and had we just have been walking past I would hav exalted right on y at the first sign of any hassling)

Anyway we went in, MDD lunch cous cous or pumpkin soup - both nice, pasta bolegnaise or pork cordon bleu again both nice, fruit salad - ok beer, water or wine 8:50 euros

Service ok; bit on slow side but its not like the beach was beckoning today

All in all well worth it and we will return

Spot on. I love the exposed sandstone on the internal walls - Such a beautiful colour.

Quite a few photos on their website;

We have definitely eaten in S'Arc, I recognise the courtyard. But I can not recognise anything from the link to C'an Pere - which has amazing photographs, thanks for link LM. As you suggest cd, as it was a couple of years ago, it may well have had a make over, or may be very close by? If I walked past it, I may not assume it was a restaurant now, just a hotel, so maybe that's why the guy has to stand outside "informing" people!! Certainly one to try though, it looks amazing!

They look different to me.

to confirm it look at the contact details

Hotel Ca'n Pere, Alcúdia, Mallorca, Spain - Location number 12 C/serra

:: RESTAURANT S´ARC :: number 22 C/serra

So that's two nights out in Alcudia old town on the same street.
