Thanks Mark! I think confusion comes with the fact that many restaurants now have part of their flooring glassed over to look down at old artifacts or part of the old walls. Thank goodness they dont it in Supermarkets! ;)

Can Pere and D'Arc both have glass floors as you enter and they used to be run by the same person, Pedro. However he now only controls Can Pere, and he also owns D'Arca which is on the square behind the town hall.

We tried can pere a few weeks ago and now looking forward to the next trip to try S'Arc, we did try to get a table one September's evening a few years ago but it was full. ( I should have booked as was a Friday night pre recession era)

Just looked at the photos again and yes we went to Can Pere NOT S'Arca ...... which was actually the one I was originally thinking of and intending to go to ..... never mind, can try it next time
