Hi cd. There have been posts re getting married at Formantor beach, and receptions at various lovely spots in PP, but can find nothing about weddings being held on PP beach itself. Only way to check if this is possible is to contact the various churches direct (there are links in posts above) to see what the vicar will do. I dont see it as a problem, as they are usually willing to go to most venues.

The Hotel Formentor offer wedding blessings right on the sea front under the shade of the pine trees, they also do canapes and after service champagne cocktails on the terrace of the hotel. You can also book the Formentor restaurant where they offer various types of buffet food, BBQ etc.

Default Wedding in Pollensa

Hi there,

I apologise if lots of people have asked similar things but my fiance and I are in the planning stage of our wedding. Last year we visited Majorca and fell in love with the old town of Pollensa. We would love this to be our wedding destination and was wondering if anybody has tips.

Where can you get married in Pollensa? We loved the chapel at the top of the 365 steps, can you get married there?

We also loved the square, how would we go about organising a buffet and entertainment there after? Are you allowed? Do the locals mind or would this be rude and should we find somewhere more private?

Where would be good for the evening? We are thinking a hotel near the beach, maybe a sit down meal, a room where we can dance and carry on our celebrations?

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.
Peter
