On Josefina's facebook page it says Man from Pollensa arrested. Not a lot of information been given out.

On our morning constitutional we noticed Guardia and police dog checking the area... Any ideas / news as to whats going on ?

Sounds like they are making sure the beach is safe so as to avoid any more poisonings, if this is the case then it has to be a good thing .

Seprona agents of the Civil Guard have taken over the investigation of a new case of poisoning a dog in Pollença.

Late Thursday afternoon, several neighbors found the body of one can in the bathroom area outfitted especially for dogs on the beach of Llenaire.

"We will not yield to blackmail by a cowardly person who acts against the weak, putting at risk the health of not only the animals, but potentially the people, "said Antoni March , Mayor of Pollença. Therefore, the City Council adopted emergency measures immediately, such as a thorough cleaning of the beach, character maintain the chain of custody of the dog's body poisoned , request an autopsy of it and lodge a complaint with the Civil Guard.


At the same time, the consistory due conveyed condolences to the owner of the animal family , some German tourists. All suspicions about the authorship of poisonings by the competent authorities focus on the environment of local residents .
