Default El Kiosko

Gad man you are a swine!! Not long now till the 22nd and I shall return!! Good news about the kiosk as things just didn`t feel right in July without it, (plus the fact that the fish were looking a bit on the thin side).
If you could arrange for the weather to stay in the upper 20`s for the next three weeks I would be grateful, in the meantime ENJOY!! 8o

Default el kiosko

Counting down to August 6...Just read Joey36 on El Kiosko doing brisk business some time ago but not in his usual spot. Is this true?
Having followed all the El Kiosko stories in the past this really is Hot News.
My lad was so disappointed the last two years when he couldn't get an "in betweeny" snack from El Kiosko. Mind you, I would love to munch an egg and cheeseburger from him again!
Let us know the latest.
many thanks.

Yes El Kiosko is open and doing very well this year in its new Spot, behind cafe 1919, on the opposite corner to the newsagents on the Formentor road.

Thanks again,
The sight of him having a cigarette at the side door and drinking a Cruzcampo will keep me going for the next two weeks!

Default Re:EL KIOSKO TO CLOSE!

Sad news!
Item in today's Bulletin, with photo!
"Kiosko To Close".
Seems that owner did not have correct opening permit.
Neighbours had been complaining.
Owner appealed after being told to close two months ago.

Council announced final decision on Wednesday confirming closure!

Cheers!

Default kiosko

Oh No!
I've told everyone that El Kiosko is back up and running and we've even talked when we were going to have our first snack!
Never mind, I'm sure our friend will be back...

Hi Rob,

Could be "Dobbin" burgers etc but I tried it a few years ago and the burgers were very good. My daughter and her freind loved them. My only comment is (in commen with many past posts) that the smell from the storm drains in the roadway suggests some illeagal foul drain connections(Somewhere)?

Comments on toilets etc. we in the u.k. cannot hold a candle up to the excellent standards maintained in PP.

I will check it all out again next week!

Regards

Jimbo

Very sad if El Kiosko is to close, we are his neighbours and haven't heard of any problems, certainly no complaints from us, other than we wish his openning hours extended even later into the evening!!
